Three cottages, one family, and a quiet stretch of river in the middle of Pigeon Forge.
Who we are
Downtown River Rentals LLC is a family-run set of three vacation cottages at 133–145 Old Mill Avenue in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Dolly looks after the houses and the guests — she's the one who hands out duck food for the geese at the bridge and answers your messages before and during your stay.
What we care about
- Clean, well-kept houses. We work hard to keep the cottages clean and the property cared for. Guests notice, and it shows in the reviews.
- Honest listings. Our photos are sometimes wide-angle so you can see a whole room at once, but we tell you exactly what each cottage is — including that the efficiency's bathroom is open to the room and that RiverView has a few steps inside.
- Location you can walk. We're in the Old Mill District on purpose: restaurants, shops, the trolley, and the river are all on foot, and Dollywood is five minutes away.
- Fair prices. Guests regularly tell us the cottages are a better value than the high-priced places around them. Booking direct on this site keeps it that way by skipping platform fees.
The cottages
Cottage One (RiverView at the Historic Old Mill) is a two-bedroom house for eight with a fireplace and a private deck over the river. Cottage Two (River Efficiency) is a private studio for two. Cottage Three is a two-bedroom cottage for six. They sit side by side along the Little Pigeon River and share the lawn and the fire pit.
