Our cottages are in the heart of the Old Mill District

What is the Old Mill District?

The Old Mill District is the historic corner of Pigeon Forge built around the 1830 grist mill on the Little Pigeon River. It's one of the only parts of town where you can park once and walk everywhere: the Old Mill Restaurant and the Pottery House Café & Grille, the Old Mill General Store, candy and pottery shops, Patriot Park, and the Riverwalk are all within a few minutes on foot. Our three cottages sit on Old Mill Avenue, a quiet dead-end street along the river just across the bridge from the mill.

How do I get to the cottages?

Please don't rely on GPS — most map apps will put you on the wrong street. From the Parkway (US-441), every traffic light is numbered:

  1. Take the Parkway to traffic light #7 and turn (you can only turn one direction).
  2. You'll reach a four-way stop. Go straight; you'll immediately cross a bridge over the river.
  3. As soon as you cross the bridge, make an immediate left between the river and MillStone Village onto Old Mill Avenue.
  4. Cottage One (RiverView) is at 145 Old Mill Ave. Cottages Two and Three are at 133 Old Mill Ave — the gravel drive, second house on the right, with Cottage Two's entrance at the top of the stone steps.

Free parking is on site at every cottage. The RiverView driveway is a little narrow at the entrance but comfortable once you pull all the way up. Full arrival details and your keypad code come with your booking confirmation.

Location questions

Where exactly are the cottages?

133–145 Old Mill Avenue, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 — on the Little Pigeon River, one block off the Parkway at traffic light #7, across the bridge from the Old Mill.

What can I walk to from the Old Mill District?

The Old Mill Restaurant, the Pottery House Café & Grille, the Old Mill General Store and shops, Patriot Park, the Riverwalk and Greenway, a coffee shop, a go-kart park, and the Central Pigeon Forge trolley stop — all within about a five-minute walk.

Should I use GPS to find the cottages?

We don't recommend it. Most map apps send drivers to the wrong street. Use the turn-by-turn directions on this page: Parkway to traffic light #7, through the four-way stop, across the bridge, then an immediate left between the river and MillStone Village.

Is it quiet at night?

Yes. Old Mill Avenue is a dead-end residential street along the river. You can hear the water and sometimes the waterfall from the porch, and you're a block away from the Parkway traffic.

Does the trolley stop near the cottages?

Yes — the Central Pigeon Forge trolley stop is a block away. From there the trolley runs to Dollywood, the LeConte Center, and along the Parkway, so you can leave the car at the cottage.
